Elizabeth’s own background includes training in both modified Salzedo and Grandjany technique, as well as Irish and Paraguayan traditional harp. Her primary performance focus is traditional Irish music, so she welcomes beginning and intermediate students interested in studying harp and music fundamentals in all genres, and advanced students specifically interested in learning about Irish traditional music. Performs: Celtic harp and vocals for all occasions, (weddings, funerals, ceili dances, festivals, house concerts, therapeutic music, interactive workshops, and more). Elizabeth specializes in traditional Irish music, with healthy smatterings of just about any other modal folk genre you can think of, from Egyptian tunes to Venezuelan waltzes to country blues. Janna Engell — North Spokane WA (Chewelah), jannarae@whisperingroses.net. Teaches: Janna teaches both lever and pedal harp in her studio using primarily the Grandjany technique. She works with students of all ages and incorporates theory, music history, improve and composition into lessons. Performs: solo harp at a variety of events; plays with choirs, musicals, and orchestras and performs in the Celtic band Whispering Roses.

Performs: Monica Schley is a classically trained Seattle harpist who freelances in many styles: new music, chamber, improvisational, avant garde, jazz and rock. She is band leader and composer for the modern chamber folk trio, The Daphnes, and has worked with Butch Morris, Evan Flory-Barnes, Jherek Bischoff, Masada, Jim Knapp, Hey Marsailles, and Kanye West.
